Ingredients

  • 680 g Plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 cups Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 1/3 cups Nut-free granola
  • 4 tsp Honey
  • 4 tsp Chia seeds
  • 4 slices Whole-grain bread
  • 4 tsp Butter (or margarine) for toast

Instructions

Wash the mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) thoroughly under running water. Drain and set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the 680 g of plain Greek yogurt with 4 teaspoons of honey and 4 teaspoons of chia seeds. Stir until well combined.

In 4 serving glasses or bowls, layer the ingredients in the following order: 1/3 cup of Greek yogurt mixture, followed by 1/4 cup of mixed berries, and then 1/3 cup of nut-free granola. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up.

Top each parfait with a few extra berries for garnish and a drizzle of honey if desired.

Toast the 4 slices of whole-grain bread to your preferred level of crispness.

Spread 1 teaspoon of butter (or margarine) on each slice of toast while still warm.
