Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Chop the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the chopped chicken to the skillet and cook until it is no longer pink, about 7-8 minutes.
In a baking dish, layer the cooked chicken mixture. Pour the milk over it.
Grate the cheddar cheese and spread it evenly over the chicken and milk mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
