Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Granola & Honey

Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Granola & Honey

By Jennifer Bridges

Total: 15 minutes
BreakfastDessertHealthyVegetarian

Ingredients

  • 480 g Greek yogurt (2%)
  • 300 g Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 80 g Granola
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

1

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly under cold running water and allow them to drain. Pat them dry with a paper towel if necessary.

2

If strawberries are included in the mixed berries, hull and slice them into bite-sized pieces if they are too large.

3

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon of honey. Stir well until the honey is fully integrated into the yogurt.

4

If using chia seeds, mix them into the yogurt-honey mixture and allow the seeds to absorb the liquid for about 5 minutes.

5

In 2 serving glasses or bowls, layer the parfait starting with a layer of honey-yogurt mixture (around 1/4 of the yogurt mixture per glass).

6

Add a layer of mixed berries (roughly 1/4 of the berries per glass) on top of the yogurt.

7

Sprinkle a layer of granola (around 1/4 of the granola per glass) over the berries.

8

Repeat the layers: Add another layer of yogurt, then a layer of berries, and top with a final layer of granola.

9

Drizzle the remaining honey (1 tablespoon divided between the two parfaits) over the top of each parfait.

10

Serve immediately with a sprinkle of additional chia seeds on top for added texture and health benefits, if desired.
