Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Honey & Granola

By Rui Reis

Total: 15 minutes
BreakfastDessertSnack

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (2% or 5%)
  • 1 cup Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup Granola (low-sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Chia seeds

Instructions

1

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. If using strawberries, hull and slice them into smaller pieces.

2

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix well until the honey is fully incorporated into the yogurt.

3

If using chia seeds, stir them into the yogurt-honey mixture. This will add a pleasant texture to the parfait and boost its nutritional value.

4

In two serving glasses or bowls, start layering the parfait: Add a layer of the yogurt mixture at the bottom, followed by a layer of granola, and then a layer of mixed berries.

5

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mixed berries on top.

6

Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of honey over the top layer of berries for added sweetness.

7

Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours if you prefer a chilled parfait.
