Main CourseWrapsHealthy

Ingredients

  • 120 g lean beef strips
  • 1 wrap whole-wheat wrap
  • 1/2 cup cup sautéed peppers & onions
  • 1/2 cup cup lettuce
  • 1/4 cup cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (e.g., dill, cilantro or parsley)
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Marinate the lean beef strips with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes.

2

While the beef is marinating, prepare the yogurt sauce. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped fresh herbs. Mix well and set aside.

3

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef strips and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.

4

Warm the whole-wheat wrap gently in another skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

5

Assemble the wrap: Lay the warm whole-wheat wrap on a plate. Spread a generous amount of yogurt sauce over it.

6

Add the cooked beef strips, sautéed peppers & onions, and lettuce on top of the yogurt sauce.

7

Roll the wrap tightly, folding in the sides as you go to hold the ingredients inside.

8

Slice the wrap in half and serve immediately with any extra yogurt sauce on the side.
