  • 1 lb beef sirloin
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • to taste optional salt
  • to taste optional black pepper

Instructions

In a large pan or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Increase the heat to high and add the beef sirloin slices. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned.

Add the sliced mixed bell peppers and broccoli florets to the pan. Stir-fry for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing to coat the beef and vegetables well. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

Add the sliced green onions, stirring them in for an additional 1 minute.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the beef stir-fry over the cooked rice.
