Total: 25 minutes
Main DishBeefAsianQuick Meals

Ingredients

  • 150 g beef strips
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Prepare the vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized pieces if they are not pre-cut. Mince the garlic cloves and grate the ginger.

2

In a bowl, mix the beef strips with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Set aside to marinate for about 5 minutes.

3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

4

Add the beef strips to the pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

5

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.

6

Return the beef to the pan with the vegetables. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and the sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring everything is well combined and heated through.

7

Serve the beef and vegetable stir-fry over bowls of cooked rice.
