Ingredients

  • 8 oz beef strips
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups white rice (optional)

Instructions

1

Prepare the ingredients: Thinly slice the mixed bell peppers, mince the garlic, and peel and finely chop the ginger. Set them aside.

2

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

3

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and chopped ginger, stir-frying for a minute until fragrant.

4

Add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

5

Return the beef strips to the skillet. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Stir well to coat the beef and vegetables evenly.

6

Season the stir-fry with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

7

Serve hot over cooked white rice if desired, and enjoy your homemade beef stir-fry with vegetables.
