  • 8 oz beef sirloin
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced beef sirloin to the pan. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced mixed bell peppers and broccoli florets to the pan. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables.

Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Stir everything to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.

Serve the beef stir-fry over the cooked brown rice.
