Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Break up any large pieces with a spoon.
Stir in salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Wash and dice the tomatoes. Shred the lettuce.
Preheat the taco shells according to package instructions.
Assemble the tacos by adding a scoop of cooked beef to each shell. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
Serve immediately and enjoy your Taco Night!
