Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rinse the asparagus under cold water and trim the tough ends.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and minced garlic together.
Place the salmon fillets and asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle the olive oil and garlic mixture over the salmon and asparagus evenly.
Season the salmon and asparagus with salt and black pepper to taste.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
