  • 4 cups milk or milk alternative
  • 3 units medium bananas
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp chia or flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

1

In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of rolled oats and 4 cups of milk or milk alternative (such as almond milk). Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.

2

Reduce the heat to low and let the oatmeal simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until it reaches your desired consistency.

3

While the oats are cooking, slice the 3 medium bananas. Use 2 bananas to mash and the third one for topping.

4

Once the oatmeal has thickened, remove it from the heat and stir in the mashed bananas, 3 tbsp of peanut butter, and 2 tbsp of chia or flax seeds.

5

Add 1 tbsp of honey and a pinch of cinnamon to the oatmeal if you desire extra sweetness and flavor. Stir well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

6

Divide the oatmeal equally into three bowls. Top each serving with the banana slices from the third banana.
