Greek Yogurt with Honey and Chia-Infused Mixed Berries

By Thomas Lu

Total: 15 minutes (plus 1 hour chilling)
BreakfastSnackDessertHealthy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 cup Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

1

In a bowl, combine the mixed berries with 1 tablespoon of honey and the chia seeds. Stir well to ensure the berries are evenly coated.

2

Cover the bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least one hour. This allows the chia seeds to absorb moisture and create a jam-like consistency.

3

In another bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey and the vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

4

After the chia and berry mixture has chilled, layer it with the Greek yogurt mixture in serving glasses or bowls. Start with a layer of yogurt, followed by the berry mixture, and repeat until the glasses are full.

5

Serve immediately for a refreshing breakfast or snack, or keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
