In a bowl, mix 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast.
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in 3/4 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Mix until the dough starts to come together, then transfer it to a lightly floured surface.
Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour as needed.
Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out to fit your pizza stone or baking sheet, about 1/4 inch thick.
Transfer the rolled-out dough to the pizza stone or a greased baking sheet.
Spread 1 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add your choice of toppings (about 1 cup total).
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your homemade pizza!
