Stir-Fried Tofu with Vegetables

Stir-Fried Tofu with Vegetables

By Chef

Total: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 150 g Firm tofu
  • 1 cup Mixed bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup Broccoli
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

1

Prepare the Ingredients: Cube the firm tofu into bite-sized pieces (approximately 1cm). Chop the bell peppers into strips and cut the broccoli into small florets. Mince the garlic cloves.

2

Heat the Olive Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

3

Cook the Tofu: Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until it's golden brown on all sides. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

4

Add the Vegetables: Once the tofu is browned, add the minced garlic, mixed bell peppers, and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry everything together for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

5

Add the Sauces: Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together to evenly coat the tofu and vegetables in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

6

Serve: Remove from heat and serve the stir-fried tofu and vegetables hot. Enjoy it on its own or over cooked rice or noodles if desired.
