Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and position a rack in the middle of the oven.
In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender and bright green.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper, and dill until well combined.
Add the chopped smoked salmon to the skillet with the asparagus, and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring gently.
Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, swirling gently to ensure the eggs cover the asparagus and smoked salmon evenly.
Cook on the stovetop for about 5 minutes, until the edges start to set. Don't stir the mixture as it cooks.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the frittata is set and slightly golden on top.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm garnished with additional fresh dill if desired.
