Hummus and Veggie Wrap

Hummus and Veggie Wrap

By Light Darko

Total: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces whole wheat wrap
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 handful spinach

Instructions

1

Start by preparing the vegetables. Rinse the cucumber, bell pepper, and carrot under cold water.

2

Slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds, and slice it into thin strips. Peel the carrot and slice it into thin sticks or rounds as preferred.

3

Lay the whole wheat wraps flat on a clean surface or a cutting board.

4

Spread 1/2 cup of hummus evenly over each wrap, leaving a little space at the edges to prevent overflow when rolling.

5

Distribute the spinach evenly over the hummus layer on each wrap.

6

Next, place the sliced cucumber, bell pepper, and carrot on top of the spinach, arranging them evenly across the wraps.

7

Carefully roll each wrap tightly, starting from one end and tucking in the sides as you roll to enclose the filling.

8

Once rolled, slice each wrap diagonally in half for easier handling.

9

Serve immediately or cover them with plastic wrap to enjoy later. You can also serve with extra hummus for dipping if desired
