Pour in the milk and stir well to combine with the oats and chia seeds, ensuring there are no clumps.

Slice the banana and add it to the mixture, gently stirring to distribute the pieces evenly.

Add the almond butter and maple syrup (if using), and mix until everything is well incorporated.

Cover the jar or bowl with a lid or plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and soften.
