Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 pieces large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caramel chunks
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamy mixture.

Gently fold in the caramel chunks and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt on each cookie while they are still warm.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
