  • 1 pound Large Shrimp
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1.5 cups CLUB SODA
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons White Pepper
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1.5 cups Plain Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Butter
  • to taste unit Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

Dice the large shrimp and place them in the freezer until semi-frozen.

In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, club soda, Old Bay, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, white pepper, and egg to create a thick but smooth wet batter.

Lightly dunk the semi-frozen shrimp in the wet batter, using your hands to keep the shape of the ring and lather the batter on it.

Coat the shrimp in the dry batter made from plain flour.

Fry the shrimp rings for about 4 minutes on each side, adjusting time based on the size of the rings.

Serve with garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
