Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the lean ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into 12 evenly-sized meatballs and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and brown them on all sides, about 5 minutes.
Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes until the meatballs are fully cooked.
While the meatballs are baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole-wheat spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.
Remove the skillet from the oven and stir the meatballs in the sauce. Serve the meatballs and sauce over the cooked spaghetti.
Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
