Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup Milk or milk alternative
  • 1 small Banana
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Honey (optional)

Instructions

In a medium-sized jar or bowl, add 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 tbsp of chia seeds, and 1/8 tsp of salt.

Pour 3/4 cup of milk or your preferred milk alternative into the jar with the dry ingredients.

Peel and mash the small banana in a separate bowl until smooth, then add it to the mixture in the jar.

If desired, add 1 tsp of honey to the jar for sweetness and stir all the ingredients together until well combined.

Seal the jar with a lid or cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it overnight (or for at least 5-6 hours).

The next morning, give the oats a good stir. You can serve them cold, or microwave for about 1 minute if you prefer warm oats.

Top with additional banana slices or any other toppings of choice before serving.
