In a medium mixing bowl or a mason jar, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and milk. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
Slice half of the banana and add it to the mixture. Mash the other half of the banana thoroughly and mix it into the oats. This will add natural sweetness to your overnight oats.
Add the natural peanut butter and honey or maple syrup to the oat mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the peanut butter is evenly mixed throughout.
Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and flavors.
In the morning, stir the oats. You may need to add a splash more milk if the consistency is too thick for your liking.
Serve the overnight oats cold, topped with additional banana slices if desired. Enjoy as a quick and nutritious breakfast!
