Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
Finely chop the onions.
In a skillet or frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onions become translucent, about 5 minutes.
Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
Pour the sautéed onion and garlic mixture over the chicken breasts, spreading evenly.
Pour 1 cup of milk over the chicken and onion mixture.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt over the entire dish.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden on top.
Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Garlic Pepper Chicken Bake with a side of your choice!
