Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the chicken broth to the pan, stirring to scrape up any bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low, add cream and grated parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
Slice the cooked chicken breasts and return them to the pan along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything to coat well with the creamy sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
