Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil over high heat.

Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the marinara sauce to the skillet and stir occasionally until heated through, about 5 minutes.

Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and then drain the rest.

Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the marinara sauce. Toss the pasta and sauce together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed to reach desired sauce consistency.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Divide the pasta into serving bowls and sprinkle evenly with grated Parmesan cheese.
