Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon is baking, slice the spring onion thinly and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the sesame oil and low-sodium soy sauce.
Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
To assemble the bowl, place 1 cup of cooked brown rice at the bottom of each serving bowl.
Top the rice with steamed broccoli and the baked salmon fillet.
Drizzle the sesame and soy sauce mixture over the salmon and vegetables.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds evenly over the top and garnish with sliced spring onion.
Serve immediately while warm and enjoy your meal.
