In a medium-sized bowl or a mason jar, combine 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 cup of milk or plant milk, and 1 tbsp of chia seeds. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
Add 1 tbsp of almond butter to the mixture and gently swirl it in to combine.
Slice the medium banana and add it to the oats mixture. Stir gently to mix the slices evenly throughout the oats.
Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of cinnamon over the top, then cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap.
Place the covered oats mixture in the refrigerator and let it sit overnight or for at least 6 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken.
In the morning, give the oats a good stir to combine all the flavors. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, you can add a splash of milk or plant milk to thin it out.
Serve cold, or you can warm it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes if you prefer a warm breakfast. Enjoy your nutritious and delicious overnight oats!
