Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 medium Banana
  • 1/2 cup Berries (mixed)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of oats, 2 cups of milk, 1 cup of water, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the oats simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until they reach your desired consistency.

While the oats are cooking, slice the banana and prepare the mixed berries. You can use any combination of berries you have, such as strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.

When the oatmeal has thickened to your liking, remove it from the heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of honey until well combined.

Pour the oatmeal into bowls. Top each serving with the sliced bananas and mixed berries.
