BreakfastDessertsHealthy SnacksGluten-Free

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (2%)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2/3 cup nut-free granola
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1

In a medium bowl, mix 2 cups of plain Greek yogurt with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined. This step is optional if you want to add a hint of vanilla flavor.

2

Take 4 small glasses or mason jars for serving. Add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to the bottom of each glass.

3

Spoon a layer (about 1/4 cup) of the Greek yogurt mixture into each glass, spreading it to cover the chia seeds evenly.

4

Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the yogurt. Use about 1/4 cup of berries per glass, creating an even distribution.

5

Sprinkle roughly 2 tablespoons of nut-free granola over the berries in each glass.

6

Repeat the layers: Add another layer of yogurt (about 1/4 cup per glass), followed by remaining berries, and finish with another layer of granola. Press down gently to secure the layers.

7

Drizzle each parfait with 1/2 teaspoon of honey if you're using it, to add a hint of sweetness.

8

Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Enjoy your delicious parfait!
