DessertVeganGluten-FreeHealthyBreakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • to taste optional fresh fruit for topping
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp almonds

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and salt.

2

Whisk the ingredients together until well combined. Make sure there are no clumps of chia seeds.

3

Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator. Let it sit for at least 4 hours or overnight. This will allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and form a gel-like pudding consistency.

4

After the chia pudding has set, stir it well to break up any clumps.

5

Divide the pudding into 4 serving bowls or glasses.

6

Top each serving with fresh fruit of your choice and a sprinkle of chopped almonds for added texture and flavor.
