Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
While the pasta is cooling, prepare the dressing by zesting the lemon and then juicing it. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice, lemon zest, plain yogurt (or light mayo if using), a pinch of salt, and freshly ground pepper. Stir well to combine.
Add the drained tuna, peas, diced bell pepper, and chopped fresh herbs to the bowl with the dressing. Stir gently to combine.
Add the cooled pasta to the bowl and toss everything gently to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the dressing and the veggies are evenly distributed.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if necessary. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
