Cook the short pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
While the pasta is cooking, slice the grilled chicken breasts into thin strips.
Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
Thinly slice the red onion and chop the Kalamata olives into halves.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sliced chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, olives, and fresh basil leaves.
Drizzle the olive oil and lemon vinaigrette over the salad mixture and toss well to combine.
Season the salad with salt and black pepper to taste.
Shave or grate the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle generously over the top of the salad.
Serve the salad chilled or at room temperature.
