Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and a tablespoon of olive oil. Make sure they are evenly coated.
Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until thoroughly cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Once done, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
While the chicken is grilling, prepare the vegetables by washing and chopping the zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic cloves.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the zucchini, bell pepper, peas, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add the cooked whole wheat pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables. Stir in the grated Parmesan and fresh basil, cooking for another 2 minutes until everything is well mixed and heated through.
Season the pasta primavera with salt and black pepper to taste.
Slice the grilled chicken breasts and serve on top of the pasta primavera, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
Serve the dish warm, enjoy your delicious Whole Wheat Pasta Primavera with Grilled Chicken.
