Ingredients

  • 1 cup Steel-cut oats
  • 3 cups Milk or plant milk
  • 1 large Banana
  • 2 tbsp Natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring the milk or plant milk to a simmer over medium heat.

Add the steel-cut oats and a pinch of salt to the simmering milk. Stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and let the oats cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until they reach your desired level of tenderness.

While the oats are cooking, slice the banana into rounds.

Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in the ground cinnamon.

Divide the oats into two serving bowls. Top each bowl with banana slices and a tablespoon of natural peanut butter.
