Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Peel and cube the sweet potatoes into 1-inch pieces. Place them on the lined baking sheet. Drizzle with 1/2 tsp olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Roast the sweet potatoes in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and tender.
While the sweet potatoes are roasting, prepare the salmon by placing the fillet on a separate piece of parchment paper. Drizzle with the remaining 1/2 tsp olive oil, squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the top, and season with salt, pepper, and chopped dill.
Once the sweet potatoes have roasted for 15 minutes, place the salmon on the same baking sheet. Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets for 5-7 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. You can use a steamer basket over boiling water.
Once everything is cooked, plate the salmon fillet with the roasted sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. Squeeze additional lemon juice over the dish, if desired.
