Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Add olive oil to the grill or skillet. Place the chicken breasts in the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
While the chicken is resting, wash and chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
Add Caesar dressing to the lettuce mixture and toss to combine until well coated.
Top the salad with the sliced chicken breast.
Serve the Chicken Caesar Salad immediately, optionally garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.
