Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Carefully lower the egg into the boiling water, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook for 8-10 minutes for a hard-boiled egg. Remove the egg, cool it under cold running water, peel, and slice into quarters.
In the same pot, add the green beans and blanch for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again and set aside.
On a large serving platter, arrange the lettuce to form a base for the salad.
Evenly distribute the sliced boiled potato, blanched green beans, and quartered egg over the lettuce.
Flake the cooked salmon into large chunks and add to the salad, distributing evenly.
Scatter the olives over the top of the salad.
Drizzle the vinaigrette over the entire salad. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, if desired.
Toss gently to combine or serve as is, allowing each person to mix their portion.
