Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small-sized baking dish with oil.
In a mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of milk. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the cheese to the milk and sugar mixture. Mix until well combined, creating a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until the top is slightly golden and the cheesecake is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Optional: Sprinkle the remaining sugar (1/4 cup) on top before serving for added sweetness.
