Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breast
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 piece eggs

Instructions

1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Finely mince the garlic cloves and set aside.

3

In a small bowl, mix the cheese with minced garlic and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

4

Carefully cut each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through the other side.

5

Stuff each pocket with the cheese and garlic mixture, securing with toothpicks if necessary.

6

In a shallow bowl, beat the egg and add the milk, mixing them together to form an egg wash.

7

Heat butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

8

Dip each stuffed chicken breast into the egg wash, ensuring all sides are coated.

9

Place the coated chicken breasts into the hot skillet, searing for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

10

Transfer the skillet with the chicken to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.

11

Carefully remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
