Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
Slice the grilled chicken breast into thin strips.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chicken strips and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through and slightly golden.
Add the warm chicken strips to the salad bowl with the romaine lettuce.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the salad.
Add 3 tablespoons of Caesar dressing to the salad. Toss everything gently until the lettuce and chicken are well coated with the dressing.
Top the salad with 1/2 cup of croutons, making sure they are evenly distributed.
Serve the salad immediately, optionally garnished with extra grated Parmesan cheese or cracked black pepper.
