Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create two long halves.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the butter. Cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant, but do not let the garlic brown.
Brush the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the baguette halves.
Chop the parsley finely and sprinkle it evenly over the buttered baguette halves. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.
Generously sprinkle the cheese over the parsley-covered baguette.
Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice into pieces and serve warm.
