Chia Seed Pudding with Fresh Fruit

Chia Seed Pudding with Fresh Fruit

By Light Darko

Total: 4 hours and 10 minutes
DessertVeganGluten-FreeHealthy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh fruit

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well until all the ingredients are well combined.

2

Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes and then stir again to prevent clumping. Ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the liquid.

3

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for better results. This will allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and turn into a pudding-like consistency.

4

Remove the pudding from the refrigerator and give it a good stir. If it's too thick, you can stir in a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

5

Spoon the chia pudding into serving bowls or glasses and top with fresh fruit of your choice, such as sliced strawberries, blueberries, or mango.

6

Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
