Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef strips
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 2 stalks green onions

Instructions

Prepare the garlic and ginger. Mince the garlic cloves and finely chop the inch piece of ginger. Also, slice the green onions.

In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and chopped ginger to the pan, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the beef strips to the pan. Stir-fry until the beef is browned on all sides, around 4-5 minutes.

Add the mixed vegetables to the pan. Continue to stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to coat the beef and vegetables evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked rice to the pan, stir everything to combine, and let it cook for 2-3 more minutes until the rice is heated through.
