Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set the tops aside.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Add the cooked rice and 3/4 cup of marinara sauce to the skillet with the ground beef. Mix well until combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Spoon the beef and rice mixture into the hollowed bell peppers until they are filled generously.
Place the filled peppers upright in a baking dish. Pour the remaining 1/4 cup of marinara sauce over the stuffed peppers.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top of each stuffed bell pepper.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your stuffed bell peppers!
