Classic Scrambled Eggs

Classic Scrambled Eggs

By Elena Esparza

Total: 10 minutes
BreakfastEggsQuick and Easy

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1

Crack the eggs into a medium bowl and beat them with a whisk or fork until they are completely blended.

2

Add the salt and black pepper to the beaten eggs and mix well to ensure even seasoning.

3

Place a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add the butter. Allow the butter to melt completely and start to foam without browning.

4

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet. As the eggs begin to set, gently stir them with a spatula, pulling them across the pan to form soft curds.

5

Continue to cook, slowly stirring, until the eggs are cooked to your desired consistency. Remove from heat slightly before they finish cooking as they will continue to cook in the residual heat of the pan.

6

Serve immediately, seasoning with additional salt and pepper to taste if desired.
