Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise, but not all the way through, creating a pocket for the fillings.
Layer the sliced salami and turkey inside each hoagie roll, distributing evenly.
Place a slice of cheese on top of the meats in each roll.
Wrap the hoagie rolls in aluminum foil and place them in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the rolls are warmed through.
While the subs are baking, prepare the salad. Rinse and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a medium bowl.
Slice the tomato into thin rounds and add to the bowl with the lettuce.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and vinegar to make a simple dressing, then drizzle it over the salad and toss gently to combine.
Once the subs are ready, remove them from the oven, unwrap from the foil carefully, and serve hot with the salad on the side.
