Total: 25 minutes
SaladChickenQuick Meals

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2

Add olive oil to the grill or skillet. Cook the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

3

Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then, slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.

4

While the chicken is resting, rinse and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

5

Add the Caesar dressing to the bowl with the lettuce and toss well to ensure the lettuce is evenly coated.

6

Add the croutons and half of the parmesan cheese to the salad and toss gently to mix.

7

Top the salad with the sliced chicken and sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese over the top.

8

Serve immediately, ensuring each serving has an even amount of chicken, lettuce, croutons, and dressing.
