Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add unsalted butter. Allow it to melt completely.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter, stirring constantly for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden but not burnt.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken, letting it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Chop the parsley finely, then sprinkle it over the chicken. Serve the chicken breasts hot, draped with the garlic butter sauce.
