  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, ensuring each one is fully incorporated before adding the next.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing each cookie about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
